How to remove acount from outlook

i set my yahooaccounton outlook. the accout was set but all my inbox emptied.and now when i've removed the account from outlook my parent yahoo account is still not receiving any mails.kindly help

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

Configure your yahoo account on outlook again, set the default inbox in the yahoo server, close outlook, delete your account and go to yahoo.

you can set up outlook to keep a copy of messages on the server.

tools-> account settings -> Change ... -> More settings -> advanced -> leave a copy ...
