How to reset toshiba satellite a135 s4467 laptop bios password

My laptop died when I tried to upgrade the BIOS. Yes, all software is up to date (Partitioned HD Installed Windows Vista w/ SP1 & SP1 & SP2 security updates and all other updates, even the optional ones. Installed all software and all updates. each ones updates. I tried to update the BIOS and the machine shut down and I could not power it up again. How do I reset the BIOS???
