How to Send a Video to Roku

Roku allows users to access the internet streamed TV shows, movies or the series on the Roku TV. This provides them the chance to perform mirroring and also send the different format of data contents from any device including tablets, mobile, desktop, and laptops to the Roku TV. Here is how you perform the operation of sending a video to Roku in an easy manner by following the below steps.

On your Roku Mobile App
Step 1
You can download the Roku mobile app from the app store or the google play store for Android and iPhone users respectively. You can now open the Roku Application on the device from which you want to send videos to Roku.

To share the videos or photos from any device to Roku, you need to enable the ‘Play on Roku’ feature. Here you can either choose ‘Photos’ or music to send to the Roku device for viewing it on the big Roku screen.

From any device, in this case, it is the mobile device from which you want to send the video to a Roku. You can select from the mobile application either the photos, screenshots or the videos to be sent to the Roku device.

Now from your device, you can choose the video that you prefer to send it to the Roku device for watching. You will notice here that the video is sent to the Roku device. You can now view the video file sent on the Roku TV.
