I have a Lenovo A1000 with 8GB internal storage. I just added a 32GB SD card today. I then set the default storage option to External Storage. Now, when I download apps, I am finding that the App is listed as being 116MB, but the SD card only has 9MB data (this is for the Kindle app).
The option to move the App to the SD card shows "Move to Phone" suggesting that the phone believes that the app is already on the SD card. However, I am unable to download more apps, since the system says I have no more memory, which cannot be true. This means that the App itself is likely still in internal storage, which defeats the purpose of why I added the SD card.
How do I get the apps I download to go on to external storage? What seems to be happening now is that the app is staying in internal storage, but the data is going to the SD card.
