Hello,
Today i got a notebook from my uncle. It's a samsung n120.When i started it up,it was working well.I managed to install some games like cs 1.6, gta vice city, gta 3 etc etcand they run somewhere slow. But when windows 10 fall creators update appeared and i have install in,it became imblazzely slow. Why did this happen? What OS should i downgrade to in order to make it work normal? Specs are:
Intel Atom N270 1.6ghz

2Gb ram(i installed extra 1gb by myself)

160gb Hdd

Intel gma 945 familly express
Also can i run Unturned 3.0 in any playable way on this notebook?
Thanks in advance.

Solution
That N120 runs an Atom chip from 2009...... Honestly, I'm surprised Windows 10 even runs on it remotely well.

I assume this was upgraded from the original XP, via Windows 7? If so, chances are good you have a bunch of driver conflicts going on there.
If you want to run Windows 10, I'd suggest starting with a clean install - and ensuring you use 32bit Windows.

"Normal" is subjective, and that netbook isn't going to be the snappiest laptop you ever use. A clean install would help some, for sure.

As for the "extra 1GB" you installed...... AFAIK, that netbook only had 1xDIMM slot to begin with.
Did you remove the original 1GB and replace with a 2GB module?

The Fall Creators Update did not change things that much.
Not to all of a sudden become "imblazzely slow"

Possibilities:
1. The drive is almost full and/or heavily fragmented
2. Virus or other malware
3. It is an insanely slow system, no matter what is on it. Because it is.
It is not in any way a gaming system. Good for web browsing an utube videos.

For Unturned 3.0...... I can't see any way to make that viable, no.
OS: Windows 7 32-bit
Processor: 2 GHz
Memory: 4 GB RAM
DirectX: Version 9.0c
Storage: 4 GB available space
RECOMMENDED:
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Processor: 3 GHz
Memory: 8 GB RAM
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 6 GB available space

So neither your CPU, RAM or DXversion is sufficient for the title.

Your only option (remotely) worth considering would be GeForce now from Nvidia.
A streaming service, includes Unturned as a streamable title.

The problem though, is your Wifi. Limited to 802.11b/g, you may not be able to stream sufficiently.....

Solution
Downgrade to Windows XP if you can find media and keys (in XP days, OEM Windows media was not universal).
Next possible would be Windows 7 Home (again, obtaining license keys is up to you).

I would also say bet that video adapter is "Generic Microsoft adapter", even more limiting the performance.

And last but not least: If you're curious, try some Linux distro.

Performance on that is no different between Win 7 or Win 10.
It is simply a slow system.

I have an Asus Transformer about the same.
Running Win 10. It is slow, because it is a slow system.
