I have a good video but no volume on the HDTV 920. Volume works on the TV
but not on the HDTV?
How do I turn up the volume on the HDTV? I called GI and they said they
would call me back. That was last week. Thanks for any help.

Do you mean 4DTV (wthout HDD-200 decoder)?

If so, double press the vilume up on the remote. The second press will put
it into 4DTV volume mode as lon as it is held down.

Hey thanks for the info but it did not work. I am not sure if I have the
HDD-200 or not I receive
digital programs. I can not get the 4DTV receiver
volume to turn up. I dont know how to turn it up.
Could anyone advise how to turn the 4DTV receiver volume up. The TV has
volume if I turn the 4DTV receiver off. When I turn it on there is no
sound and I cant turn it up. I have in the past seen a volume grey in
color come up in the upper left side of the screen. But cant get it now.
I get a great picture but no sound. Thanks for any info.

From http://www.4dtvforum.com/remote.php :

"The 3-in-1 remote is programmed at the factory to control the volume
of your TV. To reprogram the remote control to operate the source
volume of the IRD press and hold the 4DTV button at the top of the
remote until the LED light begins to flash. The key in 1-0-0. You will
see the light stop flashing. The volume function of the remote control
will now bring up a volume "bar" on the on-screen display of the
receiver and allow you to control volume via UHF and IR."

See http://prestocomm.netfirms.com/remotehelp920.html#anchor2 . If that doesn't
help read the remainder of this message.

An HDD-200 is an add-on box that allows a 4DTV to display Hi-Def channels. If
you have only 1 box you do not have a HDD-200.

How is the 4DTV connected to your TV, which connections on the 4DTV back panel
are you using?

Do you have the problem only on digital channels, or is it on both analog and
digital?

TV is connected by the (TV Out) connector and the sound will not work on
either digital or analog.
I held down the 4DTV button till the light flashed then keyed in 100 the
TV then went to channel 100.

Same thing has happened with my 4DTV remote.

You need to keep trying until the address change takes.

Then your previous address must have been "001", "002", or "003".

Also from http://www.4dtvforum.com/remote.php :

"If you are using the volume function to control the source volume of
the 4DTV receiver the codes should begin with the number "1." The four
possible codes for source volume control are "100," "101," 102," and
"103." "

Thanks Guys I got it going. Had to code the receiver, push up and down
keys and brings up A0
or A1, A2 or A3, hit enter and turn power off. Power up and on remote
hold 4DTV key down till LED flashing and enter 000, 001,002 or 003 which
ever you have coded the recirver with. Then hold down the 4DTV key and
enter 101, 102,103 or 104 as above and should have the volume up on screen
after about 25 tries. Thanks for all help.
