How to unlock memory card

I have a Canon Elph SD630 and have misplaced my memory card.

The new one I purchased is a Transcend 32GB, but when I insert it I received a message saying "Card Locked!" abd Memory card error.

I have tried sliding the lock button but have had no success.

Check for the slider switch to turn off the write protection on the card.
