Solved! How to unlock the memory card of canon camera

Canon digital camera displsy shows memory card locked. How to open that

It may have a tab/switch on it.

If it (the card) has no write-protection switch (a sliding tab on one edge) then simply bin the card and buy a new one as it probably means the card's memory chips are corrupted.
