How to upload high quality videos to youtube?

Hi everyone, I'm new here.

I already bought Action! video recorder about 1 month ago. It is best in recording high quality videos, but when I upload videos to youtube, it gets way MUCH lower. I wanna know how to upload videos to youtube with high quality.
I can see a lot of people who managed to do it, example:

There is an option in the program where it lets you export to youtubeHD, here is a screenshot:

What other settings are available under Video Quality? What is the estimated video size with the options you have selected?

Strange, you would think the High 1920x1080 option would be a larger file size than the Standard option. Try taking the .avi file and converting it to mp4 with something like Handbrake or MPEG Streamclip and see if you get better quality with either one of those two.

I have just tried using handbrake, it only reduced the lag a bit. Quality is the same, bad, somewhat too low.

From the conversation above, i'm seeing that your raw file is low in size? Then it's a setting on the camcorder.Once you get the settings all sorted out, you also want to convert to wmv. for Youtube, as it's more lightweight.

What settings did you use? This is a bit perplexing since you say the source file (.avi) plays back with great quality and no lagging?

Good ideas but the OP is not using a camcorder. Action! is game/screen recorder software. The clip the OP links to is just a couple of seconds in duration and hence the small file size.
