How to use my sony dsc-wx350 as a webcam?

I have been searching the internet and Sony's website bit can't really find any answers I'm trying to use my Sony dsc-wx350 as a web cam and I'm not sure how. It only has hdmi plug. Please help!

If it has HDMI out, you can get an HDMI capture card/device and run that to the computer. Not cheap though. Something like this https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/intensity It will take the HDMI from the camera and run it through USB/Thunderbolt and the software can see it as a webcam type device. If you want to just use a decent camera as a webcam, you should look for one that has firewire out and use that along with a firewire card on the computer. Some older camcorders also have something called USB streaming video that can output a video stream through USB using a special driver. This method is trickier though than firewire.
