How to use only finger scan lock on Iphone 6

Hello everyone, i have recently bought the Iphone 6. The problem i am facing is that if turn off the option for security pin the phone unlocks without finger scanner.

Is there a way to set only finger scan lock and not the pin code lock.

Help!

The whole point of having the pin is so you can unlock your phone if something goes wrong with the fingerprint scanner.

It's a backup - so, no, it can't, and shouldn't, be disabled.
