how to write a file path for APTI BIOS 2015 for external disk drive

I have a very new ASUS netbook, I want to change over to ubuntu. I used 'f2' to get the boot, but was told to write a file path for any other boot options. I don't know how to write a file path for the external disk drive I want to use, via usb port.
