HP Elitebook 8460p Brick!!!

Hey Guys,

I am troubleshooting a laptop for my mother in law.
She does not know her admin password or user password. When the laptop starts, it goes directly into the HP login screen. I am not able to get into the Bios or Boot Manager. I have already tried removing the battery and cable for the CMOS and left it off for over 8 hrs. The login still appears. I have seen some desktops that will have a reset button, but I do not see one on this laptop. I am all out of ideas. The USB/DVD drive is disabled so I can not gain access that way to flash the bios. Is there something I am missing, I am all out of answers...

Sorry, we cannot help you bypass security, as we have no proof that the laptop does not belong to your mother-in-law.

As Das_stig stated, We cannot assist in BIOS pass removal. My advice would be to try and contact HP.
