HP laptop ram and ssd

Greetings, i have a
HP PAVILION DV6-7006ED windows 7 64 bits
My hard disk is working 100% any more.
Is it possible to put a ssd in it and extra ram? If so what type should i be able to put in?

Extra RAM yes but for SSD you'll have to put SSD instead of existing HDD

Your laptop supports up to 8GB RAM so no you cannot put 16GB in your laptop!

Hardware, if you put 16GB it will cause a BSOD

No you won't be able to run 16GB RAM on your laptop! Even with Win7 Ultimate
