HP Pavilion DM3 - Only 1 Ram detected after upgrading to Windows 7 64bit

I'm currently upgrading my HP Pavilion DM3 1015tx to 6gb Ram due to a requirement for a certain school project.

The old specs was

Windows 7 32 bit
2x2gb = 4gb ram (stock HP rams)

After I did a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit professional. I checked the specs and it shows only 2gb despite having 2 stock rams. (Something is already wrong here)

Then I proceed to swap out 1 of the ram with a new 1x4gb ddr3 ram. And the DM3 detects the 4gb ram but not with the 2gb stock ram. I tried updating the bios but nothing happens.

Hope I can solve it asap as I'm need to for my school project.
