Hello,
i bought my hp probook 4510s in 2010, but i recently discovered that the battery stop charging after some few minutes when i plugged in to power supply. i tried several 4510s adapters but still same. can anybody help please.
so I think I will be correct in saying that your battery is now about 1 year old? Either you got some contact issue where battery loses contact with the charging circuit or you battery has ran out of juice and needs to be replaced.
Don't go gasping for air, 1 year lifetime for 6-cell batteries is nothing new.
heres a small chance one, you might need to recalibrate the systems thought on what a full battery is. IIRC, you just need to run it dead on the bat, then recharge it.
hello
sorry for not responding early to your suggestions. after testing several power packs, i finally got one that is finally charging my laptop.
Thanks for the concern.

I have a similar problem, especially with high capacity batteries. I have three HP 4510s, and only one has this problem.
