HP tc4200 blinking orange power light cannot boot

Hello, I have an old TC4200 that recently appears to have given up the ghost. When switched on the power light flashes orange briefly and It refuses to boot up. I've tried a replacement battery and power supply, I've even gone as far as purchasing a docking station in case the rear power socket was damaged. It's an old machine but my budget is a bit tight at the moment so I'd like to get it running again if a fix would be possible. Thanks. G

I've had two laptops die similarly. I even tried replacing the BIOS battery. Hopefully it's not the power components on the motherboard. good luck!

Try reseating the memory modules. if still not turning on, it probably is a bad motherboard.

Maybe try the hdd in another pc?
