Hello, when i turn the computer on it goes to a screen saying missing operating system. i have a vaio vgn-nr120e

It would appear as if the operating system has been erased. I would bet that it has something to do with a bad hard drive. To test this, re-installing the OS with the CD's/DVD's that came with it or through the recovery partition.
