HyperX Cloud Alpha Static noise coming from microphone

Solution
Did your other headset have a usb soundcard? Usually plugging the headphones straight into the motherboard creates static due to a lot of electrical interference. In my case, I bought a soundcard for my Cloud Alphas and the quality of both mic and sound improved, especially the microphone quality. If its not the motherboard creating the issue, it may be a faulty microphone which you can RMA. Hope this helps :)
