HyperX cloud stinger not good at all!

So ive recently bought the Hyperx cloud stinger and i couldnt be more disappointed. I've previously had the Razer tiamats and they sounded just fine. I understand the tiamats are going to obviously sound a lot better than the Cloud stingers but these headphones just dont sound right. I tried playing CSGO and the audio sounds flat except for the bass. I tried playing pubg and the same thing is happening. I try playing rust and the audio is so bad. when i hit stuff it has a robot sound effect on top of the regular sound. The sound will also switch from one ear to the other rapidly sometimes and idk whats going on. Are these just bad headphones in general or am i doing something wrong here? ANY help is appreciated.
Oh and the headphones sound pretty good on music and thats about it.

I had the same experience with mine. Turned out mine was defect. However once I got the replacement I was still dissapointed by how bassy everything is and just returned it for a refund.
