I am trying to get sound from speakers that are plugged in to my projector using red and white jack leads the projector is con

I have a T 6 wimuis projector that is connected to a box via hdmi, I am trying to add a sound bar to the projector speaker , I have sound but I am unable to get any volume the sound bar is connected to the projector via red and white jack leads

Does the projector has a volume control and is it turned up?
Does the box have a volume control? is it turned up. Can you connect the soundbar to it rather than the projector?
If you can't get the soundbar to play louder by turning it up you could use something like this

if the problem is that the projector doesn't output enough. Or get a different soundbar.
