I BOUGHT AN OLDER 55" PHILLIPS TV AND IT HAS A DIFFERENT HD PLUG THAN MY NEWER TV'S AND PLAY STATION, ANYBODY KNOW OF ADAPTERS FOR THIS??

Can't tell you what it is as there is no picture or model number, but you probably have a DVI that computers have, in which case you need an adapter. Or you may just have component inputs, red, green, blue.

But i cant tell you much with the info you gave. but if you want to hook up a newer blu ray player you would need to get a hdmi to component adapter, if it does have component.
