i bought RCA jacks with red yellow blue jacks ,the other end is ti hook up to the HDWI port. but on my dvd player it has red

My DVD player has red and white audio, Yellow video . The colors on mg jacks are green, blue,and red. The other end that plugs into my tv is the HDWI plug.

You may want to re-word your post, cannot make out what you are trying to do or what you have. Are you trying to go from composite to HDMI video? I'd spend $40 on a DVD player with HDMI instead of buying a converter for the same price.

You can't use a passive cable to convert analog RCA AV to digital HDMI. You need an active converter or as suggested above an new player with HDMI.
