I have 2-5 watt speakers I want to hook up from a 6 ohm amp. Will they work?

If the amp is rated for 6 ohm speakers, you need to find the impedance of the speakers. 5W for speakers sounds more like they are amplified rather than just speakers. What type of connections do the speakers have?

You are kind of mixing up power and impedance. A 2-5 watt speaker is not going to need or handle a lot of power. Chances are it would work. Start with the volume all the way down and the bass flat. Bring the volume up slowly. If you hear any distortion turn it down. That would give you the max volume that would work. You can blow the speakers by playing them too loud.
