I have a A/V Receiver Sony with two subwoofer output ports and i get a Yamaha subwoofer but i cant get it works, i already use a coaxial digital audio cable to connect both items, somebody can help me on this one??

1. You did need a mono RCA cable but it did not need to be digital as the subwoofer output is analog. It will work so that's not the problem.
2. Did you go into the receiver speaker set up and set turn on the subwoofer output?
