I have a Dell latitude D520 running XP 2000. It's getting a bit unstable with errors and thought I should upgrade hard drive, motherboard and ram. This laptop is running on a network from a docking station when I'm in my home office, otherwise it's on the road with me when I'm out and about. I have no interest at this time in upgrading the OS, just tune up my present unit to get the best results out of it. Any ideas?

it is running XP or 2000? two different operating systems.

also, a D520 is pretty non-upgradable as far as CPU or mainboard. just upgrade the ram and put a faster Hard Disk if you want, although you could probably buy a faster notebook for not too much money..

It is Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3. I'm getting a Spoolsv.exe Application error that so fer I have not been able to correct. Any ideas?
