I have a high end creative sound card. Last week for some reason when i use a media player i have no sub output. Ironically when I play audio from Firefox it works???
Was it a Windows update? All drivers are updated

Try to run films on another program. Try Klite media pack http/www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm (download full version) this will help you alot

When in 5.1 UNCHECK the full range speakers in Trustudio speaker setup....duh I feel a blonde moment has passed!
