Solved! I have a new samsung smart tv and hooked up dvd player but dvd's only come on in black and white. How do i fix this? I am not

Can you provide exact models of the TV and DVD?
What cable(s) you have tried?

We figured it out. There was an extra set of connectors in the tv with a blue and white. We took it off and all is good.
