And what problem would that be? Please explain how cables are hooked from one to the next, what you expect to happen, and how those expectations are failing. "the picture and audio bo" don't tell us much.

There are 4 HDMI in ports on the receiver, plug the player, cable box, and whatever else you have into the receiver and then run a hdmi cable from the output on the receiver the tv.

Then just select the receiver input and it will output the audio/video to the speakers and tv.
