i have a samsung 7000 series uhdtv and can't connect my sony ht-nt3 soundbar via arc

it will work fine via optic, and if i plug the xbox into the soundbar it works fine. but when watching normal tv i hit audio source (audio out) and there is nothing. its driving me mad.. please help!

Check that the soundbar is connected to the HDMI input labeled ARC on the TV (only one will be). Make sure that you have ARC turned on in the TV and in the soundbar setup menus.
If you are using an old HDMI cable it may not work with ARC.

Hello:

I´m experiencing same issue, Anynet+ function detects the sound bar, but when I try to link it it says that the device is not available. By the way I'm using new HDMI cable.
