I have a Yamaha HTR-6130 Receiver and no speakers work when plugged into the left outputs. I tried plugging different speakers into the left output from the receiver but same problem with left speaker, no sound. Sound is great from right speaker. If its just replacing a part I would like to try to fix it myself to save some money.

Assuming that this happens with any source you play then the only possible simple repair would be for you to replace any fuses that are blown. After you remove the top look for glass cylindrical shaped fuses with metal caps at the ends. There should be a wire visible that goes through it. If this wire is blown then the fuse needs to be replaced with the same value fuse. Sometimes this is marked on the circuit board. Even if you replace the fuse it might blow again indicating a more serious (read expensive) repair. Might be a blown channel.
