I have an Apple computer. Shd I stick with Apple iPhones? I need to be able back up, integrate emails & download music etc.

Stick to whichever you feel comfortable with. You could always dual boot with BootCamp or Parallel if you need PC support on your Mac.

you should get an iPhone
you can do these task both on Wndows and MacOS, for android as well, but you will feel better with iPhone, if you like your Apple PC
