I have OTA tv only. RCA LCD & rabbit ears. Will hooking up 2 DVD recorder improve reception?

If the DVD recorder has a more sensitive tuner than the one in the TV then it might pull in more channels.
Connecting both the TV and recorder might reduce the signal strength going to both so you might need a distribution amp rather than a passive splitter.
