That is not the full audio driver. Try running Windows Update and check the optional components when it lists items to update, select all the ones there and install the updates. Check sound again. When you check with HP for the drivers make sure you have the right model and operating system selected.

I ran an update on the audio driver before i posted to toms guide. And when I put my computer on HP to get the new driver its the exact model
