I just bought an asus Rog Strix laptop, with a 970m GPU. Today i saw that the gtx 1060 is avaible on another laptop for 100$

Is gtx 1060 worth the upgrade, or should i save myself the job to return my asus, and order another laptop.
I also wondering how much better the 1060 is compared to the 970.
