think I might have missed some information - typically, you're going to run the coax connection from the wall outlet your cable provider (or antenna) uses to your TV, then you're going to run components or HDMI cable(s) between your TV and sound bar (or a optical cable for just audio) to pass video/audio.

I wager OP is talking about a coaxial digital audio out, oftentimes referred to as SPDIF.

If am correct, u can buy an inexpensive coax to Toslink converter, since Toslink sound bars are more common.
