I used older version of bittorrent and I could play the movies but then later I reset my phone so my older version was gone and I had to download the new version and after that whenever i download the movie it isn't playing in my player and I have tried vlc and mx player still it isnt playing ..is it because when i reset my phone my software updates are gone?? Or it something else

Would probably help to know what phone you are using and the version OS it has installed.
Would also help to know what the primary video player app you are trying to use and what movies you are trying to play.
