Nothing on here has been accurate to help me with my computer so far, I was wondering if someone could explain to me how to do it in layman's terms, I'm not a tech wiz so I don't know all the technical terms for when to hit what buttons like boot and bios. I need simple answers, a step by step would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

Turn off your laptop. When you see the Acer screen, press Alt F10. This should take you to the recovery partition on the hard drive. From there, you can do a factory restore.

I Am trying to do I factory restore I think, like with nothing on it. I put all the stuff I wanted on an external hard drive and now I just want it to be like I just bought it so I can sell it.

I've done that and all it does is beep really loud and do nothing then when I let go it just starts up. the only option it says i have is press f2, i've done that too and it just brings me to a screen where i can't do a factory reset or anything
