If your Key Board not functioning suddenly

Just open IE and type something on the search bar. Then try to type the place you need.
Will it work if suddenly locked your key board.

what do you mean? If your keyboard is not working properly and you need to type something you can use On Screen Keyboard.
For Windows 7:
Go to Start>>Accessories>>Ease of Access and choose On Screen Keyboard.
For Windows 10:
Go to Start>>All Apps>>Windows Ease of Access and choose On Screen Keyboard.
You can use your mouse to type with that keyboard.
