Im looking for a good cheap gaming laptop to play arkham city, CoD,DMC,and other great games but it has to be dell for certain reasons

Solution
Okay, I have two questions:
1: Is it vital that it be a laptop? You get a lot more bang for your buck on PC, to the point that I would only suggest gaming on a laptop if there is no other option.
2: What are the "certain reasons" that it must be Dell? You're cutting out all the major gaming laptop brands (with the exception of Alienware, assuming their status as a subsidiary of Dell qualifies them) by limiting yourself to Dell, which limits your options significantly.

Edit: Okay, I lied, three questions:
3: Where are you purchasing? Given your budget, I'm assuming either US, Canada, or Australia, but I'd need to know which it is to make a proper suggestion, as prices vary quite a bit between them.

$900 is unlikely to get you a good AND cheap laptop.

Laptops are usually good OR cheap. (Unless you go for an Ultrabook and don't plan on gaming, which I suspect is why you are being limited to Dell, limited to $900, and limited via 'certain reasons'. Be they workplace deductions, tax rebates, or otherwise).

You're not going to get a good AND cheap laptop, it's good OR cheap.

I don't believe that Dell use the APU's that are available from AMD, and you're unlikely to find a decent enough 'dedicated graphics' (quotes) in a Dell laptop at that price range.

I would gladly be proved wrong on this, as it is tax time!

You're definitely not going to find good, cheap, and Dell, but depending on your definition of "good", options exist. It appears that around the best you can get is an i5 and a 660M (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152393), unless you're willing to buy a refurbished laptop. Dell is completely out, however. There are just no good options.

Well, I might be wrong:
http://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers/dell/15-inch-notebook-sku-309857/

Hows the Radeon HD 8730M in 3D?
- GeForce 640M LE (Light Edition, or something along those lines, on top of been compared to the GT640M).
- Well, it can't be any worse than the Intel HD2000 - Intel HD5200 can it?

The GeForce 660M (mentioned above) would be much better in 3D, still the mobile variants tend to be nowhere near their desktop counterparts in performance.

I do like being wrong sometimes, especially if it's about value.

I doubt this laptop would be available via your 'benefactors' methods though, since it's from JB.

In all honesty, I can't vouch for the settings you could get. I'm a devoutly desktop-oriented gamer, and so am not aware of the benchmarks for the 660m on Arkham City. I can, however, attest that the 660m seems to be the strongest GPU you can get for under $1,000, so whatever it can get, that's the best you can get.
