Hello,

I want to do a full analysis of our gaming community statistics, but I do not have direct access to the database. The table splits to pages of 50 records and I need around to import 250 pages, so it's kinda annoying to do it manually (copy/paste). Also, if I do it manually my excel workbook cannot be updated automatically.

The database link is gather.topgaming.gr/stats

Is there any fixed code or an application that imports data through a loop?

database page #1: http://gather.topgaming.gr/stats/gathers.php?page=1
datebase page #2: http://gather.topgaming.gr/stats/gathers.php?page=2
etc

Tyvm :)

This is understandable of course, but he may be able to provide you with a dump of the particular table of interest. He or she can filter out any information that he or she so desires and format it in a way that can easily be imported into Excel.

Getting the admin to provide the dump is the ideal solution. A simple CSV dump would be sufficient, or an Excel dump if possible. The data is public anyway, so if all you want is the same data then he should be able to provide it. Otherwise you'll have to write a script to scrape the pages manually, which is pretty simple given that it's all in a nice tabular format, but it's still an unnecessary hassle.
