In-Line Microphone Echo

I've had a Razer Hammerhead Pro for about a year now.
I got a new one recently (2 weeks ago). They are great but there's one problem; They echo! I'n in skype calls watching a video and my friends are tealling me to mute myself because they can here me. Im playing a game and the announcer shouts "TRIPLE KILL!" and everyone in the call goes "what the heck was that?". I am just baffled as to why this happens. Its an In-Line mircophone, and the headphones are obviously attached to that wire. I don't use the "Listen" setting in the recordings tab that lets you hear yourself when you talk either. Im just so confused and i'm in need of some wisdom to tell me how to fix this, or atleast know why it happens.

Have you tried using another input? There's also an echo cancellation option in the settings if I'm not mistaken.

What do you mean other input?
And where do i find echo cancellation?
