In my pc's device manager there is no imaging devices, my pc's camera is not working, when i start the camera it shows connec

my laptop is of acer company of model GT4250s.
Initially when i got this laptop it is working properly nearly 4 years ago, but after 1 year its stops working and whenever i tried to start camera it says to connect camera device.
I tried to install different drivers of realtek camera but it didn't work, i also installed webcam but nothing is going to work.
Now there is no imaging devices options in my laptop's device mangaer.
what should i do?

If drivers do not enable the camera, it could simply be broken. Use a USB webcam if you need one or replace the webcam, it should be removable from the screen.
