In Need of a Broken Laptop Screen Solution for Booting into BIOS

My laptop, ASUS ROG G750JM, has a broken screen. Fortunately, I can easily connect to an external monitor only on Windows, and just Windows alone. I need to find a way to get into my BIOS so I can boot into my USBs and launch my Linux environments and dive myself into the world of operating systems. If I do enter BIOS, while connected to an external monitor, I won't be able to see what I'm even doing. Is there some way around this? Some way that could command my computer to just project itself into the external monitor when in BIOS.

The only option you have besides getting that display fixed is to try your laptop's function keys before the BIOS screen appears - the Fn+Fx combo that sends the display output to the external display output ports of your laptop.

Thank you for your suggestion, but I have tried what you have said. Here's exactly what I did: turned on my computer, spammed F2 (button to enter BIOS), and then when the screen turns blank and black (this happens before BIOS actually appears), I pressed FN + F1-12 (multiple attempts using all FN + Fx combinations), and all was shown was just the distorted display on my broken internal monitor. Did I do anything wrong? Are there other alternatives to the combo FN + Fx? Does my laptop model, ASUS ROG G750JM, have a different method of booting into BIOS displaying through an external monitor?

Hi, if you change the "Lid close action" in the Power Options to "Do nothing" and apply after. When you boot your laptop, close the lid right away, and push the Fn key to go in the BIOS, hopefully you will se the BIOS on the external monitor.

Unfortunately, this method did not work aswell.

I have solved this problem for my HP 4730s. step 1: start computer and press ENTER SETUP KEY (whatever on your model) repeatedly until computer is hanged. step 2: press Fn + Fx whatever on your model ( for me - F4). you will have your secondary monitor activated with BIOS setup on it. That's it. Enjoy
