Input not support

My AOC monitor (60 hertz) supports 1600*900 resolution. It is displaying TV channels but a small message is coming as “ INPUT NOT SUPPORT “. How to remove that?? I am using HDMI to VGA adapter.

Are you saying the monitor works but has the input message on the screen anyway? It is likely an issue with the adapter, in almost every case display issues come from those, especially when using lower brand monitors. Would help if you provided details about the exact monitor model, what is connected to it, brand/model of the adapter.

AOC monitor model: TFT20W90PSA
HONEYWELL Adapter model: HC000001/ADP/BLK
Adapter specifications: HDMI resolutions upto 1080p@60hz, HDMI Bandwidth 6.75 Gbps, VGA resolution 1920*1200p@60hz, refresh rate 650MHz

I suspect that the problem is that TV channels are not in 1600 x 900 and the converter doesn't scale the output of whatever is providing the TV channels to the monitor. Regular TVs have scalers built in. Monitors don't. If the source were a computer you could change the video resolution to match but most TV tuners won't have that.

Yes video is displaying properly but the message appears on screen. Yes PC resolution is set to 1600*900.
I have written adapter specifications in previous reply. Adapter is branded.
