Inspiron 1420 Screen Replacement

I got a Inspiron 1420 pp26l that needs a new screen. it has a WXGA Screen and according to the service tag it came with a C257H screen but the dell part store says I need a model DM110 screen. My question is how important is it that I get the same model screen or does it really matter as long as you get the right size and resolution and it says it works with the 1420?

The important thing is that all the connectors and things fit. You probably don't need the exact same model, but it would probably help because it would have readily accessible drivers that were meant to work with your hardware.
