intel i3-50050u or AMD quad core a6 6310

Hello all.

I'm looking to buy a low-end budget laptop.
I'm between two:

The first one has AMD quad core a6 6310 and the other comes with a Intel Core i3-5005U.

All the rest are the same, 4gb ram, amd r5 m330 2GB as a graphic card, same price.

Although i understand that most recent games may not run or be able to run with very low settings, between those two only which one do you recommend and why?

I would go with the i3. Yes, it's only dual-core, but Intel's performance to core ratio is better than AMD. Not to mention, you still get a dedicated GPU. It's not new, but it will allow to play games. Don't expect a super fast computer, but I would pick against AMD any day in terms of the A6 series.

I agree with Herc08 go for the i3.

Amd a6 is a dual core like the i3 but with only 2 threads and overall it has very low perfomance even for simple tasks.
