Hi, i have a MSI Laptop GT70, Nvidia GTX 675MX / 4GB GDDR5 GPU and for about 2 months i have been experiencing a lightshow in games which is basically caused by flickering textures and such. I have been needing to use my Intergrated Graphics if i wanted to play something. I remember it first appeared while playing Battlefront 2. And haven't found a sollution yet, i have tried different drivers for the GPU with no luck. Anyone know something?

What you are talking about could be what they call "artifacting". If you have updated the drivers it could be a sign that your VC is dieing. How old is your machine and how much use has it gotten?

My Laptop is about 1 year old and have at least been used 5 times a week for the time i have had it. Approximately 3-5h on a daily basis.

Laptops are harder to diagnose than desktops. My opinion is that you have a video card that is going out. Being that the problem goes away when you use integrated graphics.

What do you suggest doing? I guess getting a GPU for a laptop is pretty hard.

And by the way, it seems to work as it should performance wise, i don't know if faulty GPU's has that problem...

What do you mean by "it seems to work as it should performance wise" ?

It runs games like Skyrim fine (60fps ultra)

So in Skyrim you do not experience this issue? Are there only certain games you experience this issue in?

Sadly i experience it in every game i have. I just said that i didn't have any performance issues while using the GPU. (Lag, and so on)

Also, i haven't cleaned my Laptop in a while, may that be an issue?

Do you have anything to say, or should i just get a new laptop or something?
