internal hardisk not found

hello,
i was initially facing the problem that as i turn on my laptop and enter password it was showing black screen( i am using 8.1 os)
so while booting i pressed f12 now it is showing error internal hardisk not found .i am using dell inspiron 3542 .what do i do, plz help

Most likely you have a dead hard drive. You ca take it out and plug it into a tower and see if it can detect it.
