Internet media net

I would like to know if internet/medianet on my phone is from my spouse chatting online on his laptop? I've been getting them on my bill, and I know when he uses the laptop for other activity, its posted on the bill as data usage. What's teh differance between the two?

medianet is the internet, just how it's accessed is not through only using the phone's web browser but by other direct means;
chatt programs, on-line music players (streaming), games, email, videos including pics and a few others.

ask your spouse who's he chattin' with so much, what's her name...!
